Job Description
Overall Responsbilities:
-To facilitate in the registration of tobacco growers;
-To facilitate registered growers to submit all required statutory returns;
-To facilitate growers to book - in tobacco fo sale before delivery
-To continuously educate growers on presentation and grading standards so as to attract better prices;
-To carry out farm inspection to monitor tobacco storage pests and advise tobacco growers on control requirements to safeguard the national the national tobacco crop from damaed tobacco moth and beetle;
-To do any other duties as assigned by head of the province from time to time
-To supervise tobacco sales at decentralized contract within the province
Job Requirements
-An Agriculture degree / diploma from a recognised institution
-Possession of a TIMB Classification Certificate;
-A clean class 4 drivers licence
-Minimum of 2 years relevant working experience
-Highly computer literate
-Good critical, analytical and investigative skills;
-Must have an eys for detail
-Trustworthy
-Excellent report writing skills
-Highly computer literate
-High level of maturity;
