Job Description
Wickbury Investments is a mineral resources company that that holds title to the largest vermiculite claims in Zimbabwe. The company aspires to be the largest and most profitable producer of vermiculite in he world. A vacancy has arisen for Mine Manager position for the Dinhidza operation in Buhera District.Suitable qualified persons are encouraged to apply.
The Position: Mine Manager
Reporting to: The Manager Director
Duties and Responsibilities
> Oversee mining and processing operations at Dinhidza mine
> Manage the production budget and product quality
> Mine planning, scheduling, budgeting and managing production costs
> Manage mine personnel and ensure mining equipment maintenance and availability
> Liaison with stakeholder (e.g. clients, local community and government departments).
> Compliance with mining, safety, health and environmental regulations.
Qualification
> A Mining / Processing degree from a reputable university.
> Mine Managers Certificate of Competency.
> Full Mine Blasting License.
> At least five years in a senior managerial position.
> Clean class four drivers license
