Personal Services Agreement Contract
Job Grade : SB3
11 Months ( with a possibility of renewal )
Duty Station : Harare
Duties and Responsibilities
Working under the overall supervision of the FAO Representative in Zimbabwe (FAOR) and the Head of Operations, the direct supervision of the Project Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring quality implementation of livestock drought mitigation interventions in particular :

> Provide livestock technical assistance to the drought mitigation projects
> Advice on matters related to project's implementation, by providing technical guidance to achieve project exceptions
> Participate in the preparation of project implementation work plans in consultation with key stakeholders
> Monitor the implementation of districts projects work plans
> Prepare project progress reports against the projects log-frames
> Identify and advise project manager on constrains and issues that need timely resolutions and corrective actions
> Review progress made in the implementation and lessons learnt in the districts and make recommendations to improve performance
> Produce projects procurement, visibility and communication plan
> Development of technical specification, terms of reference for gods and services.
> Supervise activities of consultants and companies providing the goods and services
> Preform any other related duties

Minimum Requirements
> Advanced university degree in Animal or Veterinary Sciences
> Minimum five years of experience in rural/agricultural project management
> Good communication skills in English
> Good computer skills
> Ability to work with people of diverse cultural and national background
