Job Description
ZIMBABWE CONSOLIDATED DIAMOND COMPANY(ZCDC), a world class diamond producer for the long term benefit of Zimbabwe, seeks to recruit suitably qualified, experienced and self-driven candidates for the following exciting opportunities that have arisen across the business:
POST 2:PLANT MANAGER
Reporting to the mine manager, the PLANT MANAGER will be responsible for leading the diamond extraction processes by optimally operating the recovery plants according to set parameters and principles in line with safety, health and environment standards.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
*Degree in Metallurgy or equivalent
*At least 8 years experience in a mining environment 5 of which must be at Management Level.
*Experience with greenfield/brownfield diamond projects.
SKILLS:
*Sound metallurgical/process optimising skills.
*Strong people management skills.
*Strong technical report writing skills
ATTRIBUTES:
Should be aged 26 or below,self-driven, have passion and hold a relevant degree with an upper second(2.1) class or better from an accredited institution of higher learning.
