Sabona Trust is seeking a Project coordinator that will be responsible for Sabona Trusts operational functions and programme delivery and work closely with the local communities and Sabona Trust’s beneficiaries.
The project coordinator shall make sure that the implementation of Sabona Trust’s programmes and projects are according
to the plan and overall strategy, and follow up and monitor the work in the field and show the results of the organisations
achievements. The Project Coordinator will work closely with the field worker and the communities and report to the
Financial and Administrative manager of Sabona Trust and to the Sabona foundation in Norway.


• Bachelor’s degree in Development studies, Social Work or other relevant fields
• 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in a NGO or other relevant work places
• Experience with community work and implementation of sustainable community projects
• Exceptional diplomatic interpersonal skills and ability to build strong professional relationships with a range of stakeholders in a multicultural environment
• Experience with working with project planning and reporting systems
• Computer skills and proficient in relevant computer applications
• Excellent communication skills are essential
• Excellent oral and written English Preferred:
• Master’s degree in Development Studies, Social Work or other relevant fields
• Demonstrated record of successfully managing donor funded projects
• Experience in project management
• Demonstrated records of leadership skills
• Experience with working with vulnerable children and youths

Duties
• Develop project proposals and project plans
• Operationalize, lead and monitor the implementation of Sabona Trust’s programmes and projects
• Implement project guidelines and ensure that they are being followed and updated when needed
• Develop the systems and capacity to apply Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting (PMER), Logical Framework Approach and Result Based Management (RBM) with the aim to implement efficient and effective programs and report on their result

• Ensure meaningful and accurate monitoring and evaluation of Sabona Trust’s programs and performance

• Serve as a liaison between the local communities and the organisation and donors

• Work with the local communities to ensure the involvement from the beneficiaries and sustainability in Sabona Trust’s projects • Represent Sabona Trust in matters concerning Sabona Trust’s operations
