NOTICE ON FRAUDULENT JOB OFFERS:
It has been brought to our attention that there have been instances of fraudulent job offers, purporting to be from the National Social Security Authority and/or its affiliates. Our internal investigations have traced the mastermind of the fraudulent job offer scam to a junior member of NSSA staff working in cahoots with some members of the public using social media and NSSA letterheads. These fraudsters have been offering non-existent employment opportunities in NSSA to desperate job seekers between January 2014 and December 2016 in exchange for cash ranging between $500-800 per position. Disciplinary measures are being taken against the individual involved.
Members of the public are hereby advised that NSSA is an equal opportunity employer and does not advertise vacancies via social media or ask for any financial commitment or contribution from any candidate at any stage of the recruitment process. NSSA advertises vacancies in the national print media and conducts at least one face to face interview as part of the process. The Authority will take any responsibility for fraudulent employment offers or loss of cash, and advises prospective employees to follow the guidance provided above.
If you believe you have been a victim of a fraudulent job offer concerning NSSA, please report the matter to the nearest Police Station
NSSA has a zero tolerance to fraud, corruption or unethical behavior by any member of its staff. Members of the Public are urged to report any impropriety, of any nature using the Tip-Off Anonymous line administered by Deloitte.
