Job Description
The International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease ( The Union ) is an international scientific organisation headquartered in Paris, France, and with offices worldwide. To fulfil its mission, its office in Zimbabwe is now looking for qualified applicants to fill the position of Health Care Wellness Officer and Administrative Assistance.
Health Care Worker Wellness Officer:
The Officer will be responsible for coordinating the planning, management and monitoring of implementation of Health Care Worker wellness intervention package within the context of the Prevention of Health Care Associated Tuberculosis Infection Project funded through the CDC-PEPFAR programme.
Applicants should have a minimum of a Medical or Nursing degree with knowledge of key aspects of TB Infection Prevention Control and a minimum of 5 years practical experience in public health practice. Excellent written and oral communication skills, experience in working with multi ethnic communities and teams and possession of motor vehicle drivers licence will be an advantage.
Administrative Assistant
The Administrative Assistant will be required to provide financial and administrative support and enhance the internal control systems for the Health Care Associated TB Infection Prevention Programme.
The applicants should posses a minimum of a Bachelors degree or equivalent preferably in financial accounting and management and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of a computerised accounting system will be an added advantage.
