Department: Office of the town Clerk
Reporting to: Principal System Officer

Job Objectives
Responsible for I.C.T Infrastructure Engineering
Key Result areas
-Designing, deploying and operating of highly available and secure computing platforms, servers, and networks
-Providing infrastructure support and daily administration of infrastructure components, tools and systems of all active equipment, such as Cisco Switches,routes, storage, Dell and BM hardware
-Maintaining the ongoing reliability, performance and support of the infrastructure.
-Recommends and executes modifications to infrastructure environment in order to improve efficiency, reliability, security and performance.
-Monitoring hardware/software activities and resource utilization for capacity planning.
-Implement Disaster recovery and Business continuity plan strategies
Qualifications and Experience
-Bachelors's Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems/ Telecommunication or related field of study
-Demonstrated production deployment experience with firewalls, switches, routes, load balancers, management tools, encryption, Intrusion detection and prevention systems
-Experience with Data center management, installing configuring and maintaining approved hardware, networks management tools, encryption, Intrusion detection and prevention systems
-Experience with Data center management, installing configuring and maintaining approved hardware and software
-Administrative level understanding of Systems
