Job Description

Applicants must have bit the intellectual and professional adaptability and flexibility to be able to manage, lead and administer academic programmes for the University and community at large. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of a PhD in a business related area from a recognized University, university teaching or relevant industry and commerce experience. He / She should demonstrate academic excellence through university training, research, community service and mobilization. The incumbent should be able to communicate effectively at all levels within and outside the University and should have at least 5 years relevant working experience in University administration or leadership in industry and commerce.

The Duties shall include:
* Providing academic, research, training and administrative leadership for the Graduate Business School,
* Providing high quality business management education and training,
* Planning and control in specific areas of Human Resources, Budgeting, development of academic programmes, departmental equipment and assets and related matters,
* Leading the Graduate Business School in achieving its objectives through the development and delivery of sound and innovation programmes, the promotion of excellence in teaching, research and community service and in securing support for the unit through partnership and linkages with other organizations,
*Leading the Graduate Business School in prompting research and technology innovation to support the unit's mission,
* Understanding resource mobilization activities to support the Graduate Business school and overarching university activities,
*Contributing to the evolution and maintenance of a comprehensive and conducive learning environment in the school,
* Contributing in the development of quality assurance of Graduate Business school programmes,
* Contributing in the formulation, implementation and evaluation of policy at unit, school and university level.

The Director would be reporting to the Dean, School of Entrepreneurship and Business Sciences.
