Job Description
Summary: The Finance Officer will assist the Finance and Admin Manager in managing project financial transactions in compliance with USAID guidelines, assist in preparation of financial reports, monitor program budgets, maintaining existing accounting financial system and efficient document management system as well as facilitating external audits.
Qualifications and Experience:A university degree in Accounting, Finance or a professional qualification such as CIS, 5 years experience in grants management, financial management and office administration, ability to act and operate independently with minimum supervision , strong command accounting packages, staff management, supervision and mentoring skills, excellent written and oral communicator, able to work independently, be delivery oriented and work to deadlines, analytical and well- defined problem solving skills, excellent computer skills and knowledge of accounting packages.
